The paths of pilgrimage to S. Macário.

Renewing, or rather, fulfilling an ancient tradition, going on pilgrimage up the mountain toward S. Macário, between pilgrims, passer-byes and musicians, to the top of the mountain, one of the highest in the region, where awaits us a great feast of St. Macário.

This is a night route that leads us to the place which is a mix of religious and pagan, the confluence of traditions, music and fair, which dates back from many generations ago … Along the way we will also follow the path of accordeons, bass drums, tambourines, triangles and traditional challenge singing.
